BITSAT 2017 Applicatioon Form

A computer based online test for admissions to Integrated First Degree programmes of BITS, Pilani at Pilani campus, K. K. Birla Goa campus and Hyderabad campus

The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani is an all India Institution declared as Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act. Admissions to all the Integrated First Degree programmes of BITS, Pilani, at Pilani campus, Goa campus, and Hyderabad Campus for the academic year 2017-18 will be made on the basis of a Computer based Online Test conducted by BITS, Pilani. This test will be referred to as ‘BITS Admission Test – 2017’, in short as BITSAT-2017 hereafter in this document

The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects (if he/she has taken Biology in BITSAT) in 12 th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology subjects.

12th Examination in 2016 are eligible to appear in the BITSAT-2017 test. If a candidate has taken more than one attempt in 12 th class or its equivalent, only his latest performance is considered, provided this attempt has been for the full component of subjects/courses prescribed. Students who have passed 12 th examination in 2015 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear in BITSAT-2017. Apply for BITSAT Application Form

Students who are presently studying in BITS at any of its campuses are not eligible to appear in BITSAT-2017. Admissions will be made purely on merit. The merit position of the candidate for admission will be based on the score obtained by the candidate in the BITSAT-2017. However, their eligibility for admission is subject to fulfilling the requirement of minimum marks in 12 th examination, as mentioned above.

UPSEE Application Form 2017 Complete Details

AKTU earlier known as UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Technical University) has relearsed the latest application form related to UPSEE 2017. Thed candidates seeking admission in different affiliated colleges into the courses B.Tech, B.Arch, B-Agri can apply.

The UPSEE hase fixed some mininimum eligibility criteria for the admission into colleges. Below mentioned are some UPSEE minimum eleigibility criteria :-

  • For admission to first year of B.Tech./ B.Pharm., candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University without grace in required each compulsory subjects and one optional subject as given in above table and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects
  • For admission to first year of BHMCT/BFAD/BFA, candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University and securing minimum 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate.
  • For admission to first year of B. Arch., a candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10 + 2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University and securing
    (i) minimum 50% marks in aggregate and
    (ii) clearly passed without grace, each compulsory and optional subjects as given in table.
  • A candidate possessing three years Diploma in Architecture (10+3) recognized by Central / State Govt., is also eligible for admission to first year of B. Arch. only, and provided the candidate has passed the Diploma examination securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate without grace. Such candidates will have to appear in the entrance examination for first year of B. Arch.
  • For admission to first year of B.Tech.(Agriculture), candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University in agricultural subjects and secured minimum 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate. Also all First year B.Tech. Eligible candidates are also eligible for B.Tech. Agriculture.
  • All candidates who are eligible for admission in B.Tech. Courses are also eligible for B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) and B.Tech. (Biotechnology).
